Mouthwatering Mai tai

Every time I feel the touch of summer was early as March, I’m reminded how lucky I am to live somewhere with such beautiful weather! Even just a couple days of sun has my mind (and taste buds) thinking about summer!

 Our recipe of the month is the Mouthwatering Mai Tai, a summer favorite of mine. In fact, a secret: It’s such a favorite of mine, I snuck it into our Christmas cocktail list as well in the form of “Christmas in Paradise”…a little shimmer makes everything Christmas-y!

Ingredients

  • Passionfruit Liquor

  • Light Rum

  • Dark Rum

  • Guava

  • Mango

  • Real Coconut

  • Raw Sugar

Glass

  • A double rocks glass or highball works perfectly

Steps

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a shaker except dark rum.

  2. Fill glass with ice

  3. Pour from shaker into glass and float the dark rum on top to give it color

  4. Garnish with a pineapple spear and mint
